Earth Day Mugs

I’ve always wanted my kids to learn more of the ecology. This has been because of the worsening environmental problems all over the planet. This summer, I plan on taking them to camp out with me to learn a thing or two. It’s a long drive though. But with coffee and travel mugs with me, I don’t think there will be any problem with me waking up.

We’ll do some creative activities for them to learn more of how to be earth friendly. I’ve been noticing a lot of stuff thrown out around the house lately, and it’s not from me and my wife. We’ll make some customized promotional mugs with great designs in them, and I’ll ask each of my kids to use them everyday, to save on paper and plastic cups.

Bottom line is, I really want my kids to learn more of how important being eco-friendly is. I don’t want them to experience what New Orleans had during Katrina. With those mugs, I do hope that they realize something important.

If this pushes through, I plan on doing the same thing to my beer buddies. I’ll take them fishing with me and will give them customized promotional barwares and carafes. While we wait for the bite, I’ll make them absorb something that they have been ignoring for the longest time: the environment.

One man’s cause is futile without the help of those around him. I hope these customized promotional coaster and drink holders would result to something positive. This personal quest is daunting because of the limited finances that I have, but I shall do it nonetheless.
